Shipping & Processing
Café Society Online Store, therefore referred for short as CSS in this document, states that online sales from CSS may not be canceled or returned. All prices on CSS online store are quoted in USA dollars. CSS prices are exclusive of packing, crating, shipping or storage charges, sales tax, local delivery, uncrating or installation. Sales tax shall be charged on all orders shipped within the state of California. CSS reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. Once an order is placed, it is immediately sent for processing and cannot be canceled. If you have over-ordered, or if you have ordered an incorrect item, please contact CSS at 415-305-8381. CSS will acknowledge your order(s) in writing via email; each customer order will be processed as indicated and shipped within 1-3 business days. For USA addresses, including Hawaii and Alaska, CSS ships using the following available for USA UPS methods: UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS 3 Day Select, UPS Ground. For orders originating outside of the United States, CSS may require additional documentation and/or alternate forms of payment. For all Canadian addresses, CSS ships using the following UPS methods for Canada: UPS WorldWide Express, UPS Standard to Canada. For orders originating from outside of USA or Canada CSS requires a minimum order size of $500 or the order will not be processed. Prior to processing a valid overseas order, additional shipping charges may apply and will be confirmed with you before shipping. Orders from outside of USA or Canada may be shipped using the following International UPS methods: UPS WorldWide Express, UPS WorldWide Expedited. The final cost of your shipping charges shall be shown in your order check out. If your shipping method was selected incorrectly, then the shipment of your order may not be processed. For estimated transit times, please visit the UPS website. Transit times for UPS shipping methods, including UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS 3 Day Select, UPS Ground, UPS WorldWide Express, UPS Standard to Canada, UPS WorldWide Express, UPS WorldWide Expedited are based on the number of business days from the time your shipment is received by UPS until the order is received at your delivery address.

Warranty
CSS does not warranty the products offered for sale on CSS website; however CSS describes and guarantees the condition of products as listed; also you may request additional information before you purchase. CSS does not warranty sold products that have been altered or improperly used. CSS makes every effort to provide reliable information; however, CSS does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or reliability of information appearing on the website. The CSS website may contain errors and omissions relating to product description, pricing and availability. CSS reserves the right to correct or update errors or omissions and to change information at CSS discretion without prior notice. CSS also reserves the right to cancel an order for a product in the event of an error or omission in the description of such product, including incorrect pricing information, whether due to a typographical error, an error in information received from suppliers, or otherwise.

Freight damage
The receiver shall inspect all cartons for visible damage immediately upon receipt. Should damage occur, designated receiver must note all damage on receipt document or UPS will refuse to process any claim. If the receiver discovers concealed damage not noticed during initial inspection, merchandise should not be moved and carton and packing material should be retained. CSS suggests including with your claim form photographs of the packaging and damage. Report the circumstance to UPS in writing within 14 days,requesting an inspection. If the carrier fails to make their inspection, the receiver should prepare an affidavit stating that the carrier was contacted on a certain date and that the carrier failed to comply with the receiver's request. CSS cannot be held responsible for shipping damages. Goods are inspected by CSS and shipped in good condition on purchaser's behalf. CSS wishes to emphasize that final payment of any claim is the sole decision and responsibility of UPS, not that of CSS. CSS shall not be liable for any indirect, special, consequential, or incidental damages including, without limitation, lost profits or revenues, costs of replacement goods, loss or damage to goods or services arising out of the use or inability to use this site or any product purchased from CSS, damages resulting from use or reliance on the information present, even if CSS have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Security
CSS uses the latest encryption technology to keep your personal information safe. CSS uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to ensure the security of your online order information. To check the security of your connection, look at the lower left-hand corner of your browser window when you proceed to checkout. If you see an unbroken keyor a closed lock (depending upon your browser), then SSL is active. To double-check for security, look at the URL line of your browser. If you have accessed a secure server, the first characters of the site's address should change from "http" to "https." All your ordering information --including your name, address, and credit card number --is encrypted using a secure server for maximum security. Your credit card and billing information cannot be read as it travels to CSS ordering system. If you prefer not to send your credit card information over the Internet, you may fax a printout of your order along with credit card information to CSS at 415-305-8381.
