Description: Custom replica of French enamel apéritif sign. Red with black shadowed white letters. Picon is an apéritif drink of caramel color which traditionally accompanies beer in the east and north of France. It is an elaborate distillation of fresh dried orange peels, roots of gentian, and quinine macerated in an alcohol solution. Sugar syrup and caramel are added thereafter. Historically it was considered to have medicinal benefits.
