This authentic enamel steel sign marks the'PLACE DU DOCTEUR HAYEM' in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. Dr. Georges Hayem (1841 – 1933) was one of the founders of hematology and an expert in dehydration. Due to his research many lives were saved during the cholera epidemics and he was called ‘Dr. Cholera’.
