Description: Fabulous antique French steamer trunk with a brass plaque on top, “Maison Remond 7 Rue de la Paix Paris”. There are remnants of destination stickers such as "Cherbourg", "Royal Mail Lines Limited" & stickers with passenger names hand written but still visible. Leather handles and metal fasteners are in good condition. This piece has stories of travel in a bygone era when traveling light was not an option.
