At Café Society we feature authentic vintage bars, which range from marble baker & butchers counters, café bars of wood with a zinc top and sink, and painted wood - as well as all the accoutrements. Marble counters used in patisseries and boulangeries were constructed of wood and embellished with slabs of architecturally layered marble. Authentic wood bars with zinc counters and sinks were used in the cafés and bistros of Paris from 1900 on. They can be retrofitted for the residential kitchen as well as the café or restaurant bar.
